Blue 42, Blue 42, Set, HIKE!

Alright my people! HELLLO!

First off if you haven't seen Megamind, go out and buy it, no need to rent it! :-) E and I quote it on the regular and I think you should all be up to speed.

Second, life hasn't been too eventful. I am in my last few weeks at my current job and will be starting a new one March 28th. Two other managers quit leaving only 3 of us so that has kept me ultra busy. E has been busy working and pumping iron. When I came back from Iowa I brought Mom and Paul's Wii Fit and I could watch Evan play on that thing for hours, he's so funny. We got the expansion, Wii Fit Plus and every time I watch him do Rhythm Kung-Fu I could die... he gets so into it! If he'll let me I will try and video tape it sometime! :-) We have also been playing Wii Monopoly Streets, and he is getting a good glimpse at my crazy competitive side! Ha! But my cousin Sam and my step dad Paul should be ultra excited to play Monopoly next time we're all together. :-) We're training. :-)

A week ago we treated ourselves and went on a nice date. The destination was meant to be a surprise, but when we couldn't find it we decided to go to Bonefish Grill, best decision ever! Food was great! There's one in Omaha I had always heard about, and now I know why. The Bomb.Com (yup, I said that), I suggest it! Afterwards we decided instead of doing dessert there we would just run into WalMart and get some ice cream and a movie. Well I'm sure everyone knows when you go into WalMart or Target for one or two things, you walk out with 100 :-) We were sucked in by the $5 Movie Bin Monster, and in our epic battle, the Monster won! To our credit we found some great movies! The Boondock Saints, Bulletproof, and Antz! And of course that's when we discovered the Awesomeness that is Megamind! :-) But it ended up being a really great night! I love Evan sooo very much and we don't get on dates often, but he makes the few worth the wait!

Ok, and here's the real reason I wanted to blog tonight. I worked all day and E is coming to get me shortly...
tomorrow afternoon E is heading to Baltimore with his best friend. It's only a 3 hour trip and they are going to stay the night (my first night alone in our apartment) and at 7 am Sunday morning he is checking into the NFL Free Agent Combine! Again, for those of you who don't know NFL lingo, the NFL holds a hand full of combines (tryouts) around the country. There is a rookie/draft combine that college players attend and that is usually broadcasts on ESPN, but this is a Free Agent Combine. If he gets a certain amount of points his film and stats will be sent around to every league (arena, canadian, nfl, ufl), but if he gets a higher rating he will be invited to attend the National Free Agent Combine and that is basically to be picked to join a team (not THAT easy, but in a nut shell). But no matter what, his numbers will be put into a database so something can always happen even if he doesn't score an outstanding amount of points. I'm so excited about him and I'm amazed by his coolness. He has not shown any nervousness at all. I'm so proud of him, no matter what the outcome. He knows he can do this, and even though I've only seen him play a few times, I know he can do it too. I just hope with everything that this turns out to be great! I couldn't imagine greeting him back home if he feels disappointed, that might break my heart and I might have to show up at the combine peoples' offices and show them my evil side! :-)

So pretty pretty please with lots of cherries on top, cross your fingers, pray, and wish my Love lots and lots of luck and wish him speed, strength, and determination. He will need all 3 of those to show these people what I already know, that he's amazing.
